The creative juices flow through the Lowcountry like no other place I've ever lived. I moved here in 2002 and the local history and culture have inspired me to dig my toes deeper into the sand and grow my own roots.
Marketing is a lot easier when you really know they type of person you want to reach. My biggest challenge is separating my creative side with my marketing strategies (what I like isn't necessarily what my target market likes). These days, I do most of my work online via blogging and eblasts. When it comes to creative writing (my true passion), I'm one of those 'think it now and write it later' types. My best work is done after months or years of storing it somewhere in my head.

I'm an Ohio native and graduate of The Ohio State University, with a B.A. in Communications (Marketing) and English. I began my career in PR for the Governor of Ohio. I have lived in Virginia, Florida, Maryland and California, where I gained several years of marketing experience on both the West and East Coast. I am also a licensed real estate agent in South Carolina.
