How cliché would it be to say I’m inspired by the beautiful weather, history and gorgeous sunsets? That’s all well and good, but it’s the 843’s people who inspire me. There’s incredible talent in our region that constantly leaves me in awe.
I fail visually, and hated art class as a child. Luckily I have ideas, some of which I hope are innovative. Most of my ideas focus on connecting people to people through social media and social gatherings. But basically I’m a web/tech geek.
Because without collaboration we’ll all fail. It’s time to stop thinking of our region’s creative talent as a ‘hidden gem’ and start marketing the 843 for the hyper-creative, innovative people who are hear supporting our local economies.
What would people be surprised to learn about you? I played the title roles in P.S. 24’s fourth-grade production of “Oliver Twist” and sixth-grade production of “Jason and the Argonauts.” I had to sing and everything.
